Take a step back in time with our guided tour of Dill’s Tavern, distillery, and historic outbuildings. This unique excursion is a perfect pit stop for history buffs and anyone looking to explore life on Pennsylvania’s frontier in the 18th and 19th centuries.
Members of the historical society will be dressed in period clothes and with the help of a guide, will demonstrate life during this time.
This landmark includes:
- Dill’s Tavern: A cornerstone of Dillsburg’s rich history, this beautifully preserved landmark shares stories of frontier life.
- Dill’s Distillery: A working distillery that carries on that legacy by distilling whiskey with an 18th-century recipe, technique, and attitude.
- Bake Oven: Discover the tools and traditions that fueled the hearths of early America.
- Wheelwright Shop: Still rolling strong today, watch volunteers in action practicing blacksmithing, coopering, and carpentry—keeping these hands-on skills alive.
- 1798 Log Barn: A snapshot of rustic frontier craftsmanship that stood the test of time.
- Educational Garden: Stroll through living history with engaging exhibits and gardens that showcase life in the 18th century.

Chip Away at Cancer: Ride, Explore, and Support!
– $20.00 to participate (Saturday Event)
Rev up your engines and join us for our inaugural Chip Away at Cancer excursion during this year’s rally!
This thrilling activity is a unique way to embrace the open road, explore the beautiful Gettysburg area, and make a powerful impact by supporting women battling cancer.
Proceeds from this event will directly benefit our chosen charities which are dedicated to providing care, resources, and hope to cancer patients and their families.
- When: Saturday, 10AM – 2:00PM
- Where: Select locations across the Gettysburg vicinity.
- How: Visit each designated location on the map to collect a colorful poker-style chip from a MAWMR volunteer.
Chip values will be revealed during the Saturday evening dinner. The rider with the most valuable collection wins an exciting prize!
This activity is more than just a game—it’s a chance to enjoy scenic rides, support local businesses, and raise funds for two life-changing organizations. Whether you’re competing for the top prize or simply soaking up the journey, it’s a win-win for everyone involved.

Don’t forget, we offer both women’s and unisex styles of the Rally T-shirts, which are included in your registration. Just a reminder that the women’s shirts run smaller than the unisex. If you’re unsure, order a size up as we cannot do exchanges on site.
