11-12 PM Eisenhower: Moto Mechanics with Jules Sanfilippo – Join Mechanic Jules as she shares her knowledge and experience about the basics of motorcycle mechanics. She’ll discuss pre-ride and trip checks as well as other topics. Have questions? She’s got answers! May include live demos.
2:45-3:45 PM Salon F: Make and Take Paracord Keychains and Zipper Pulls – Join MAWMR Board VP Nancy as she guides you in creating a cool keychain or zipper pull. No Cost to attend, space limited, no experience necessary.

9-10 AM Eisenhower: Know Before You Ride with Freeburn Motorcycle Attorneys – Join Freeburn Motorcycle Attorneys and Staff for a very important and informative session about understanding motorcycle insurance and what to do if you are in an accident. Includes examples with true stories.
12-1 PM Battlefield HD: Maintenance and Safety Seminar with Travis, staff at the dealership – Travis is a technician and Shop Foreman with over 25 years of experience in the industry. In this informative workshop, he will be passing on some basic moto mechanics and industry knowledge to participants.
2-3:30 PM Eisenhower: All Things Navigation Using REVER – Interested in learning how to use the REVER navigation app? Join this workshop for an overview of the key features: Route Planning, Navigation, Ride Tracking, Social Features, and Discover New Routes.

8:30-9:30 AM Eisenhower: Throttling Change: An Adventure in Pakistan with Banquet Speaker Liza Miller.
This is more than a ride – it’s a chance to connect, teach, and be part of a story that matters. Throttling Change brings together experienced women motorcyclists from around the world to ride through the breathtaking mountains of northern Pakistan and spend time mentoring the country’s growing community of women riders. Liza will talk about this amazing opportunity, as well as her past trips to Pakistan, and why this is a life changing adventure.

11:30-12:30 PM Eisenhower: Riding Abroad (on 2’s or 3’s) with Lisa Malachowsky – Lisa was 12 years old when her father taught her how to operate the clutch on a motorcycle. She’s been riding ever since. Having developed a passion for long-distance touring, she has ridden untold miles in many countries, on multiple continents, and now owns a motorcycle touring company that also provides scuba trip services. In this workshop, we’ll talk about the mindset of taking international tours, Lisa’s offerings for the future, and her experiences leading clients in various destinations.
1:30-2:30 PM Eisenhower: Packing Right to Travel Lite with Andraise Scott – Riding for more than 30 years, Andraise has led more than 800 group rides. She owns and operates the Ride As One Motorcycle tours company, typically doing 3-10 day tours. . Andraise has also completed Iron Butt type long distance endurance riding and ridden across a wide spectrum from cruisers, sport bikes, minibikes, touring bikes, dirt bikes, three wheelers and her current mainstay, sport touring bikes. In this workshop, Andraise will discuss what you actually NEED for multi-day travel. How you can do more with less while not breaking the bank and staying safe. Packing tips and nuggets that are souvenir-friendly and hassle minimizers. Let’s go through options to make it happen.

MAWMR is proud to present our dynamic banquet speaker LIZA MILLER!
Liza Miller is a prominent Santa Cruz-based motorcyclist, self-taught mechanic, and community leader known for founding the Re-Cycle Garage community co-op. In recognition of this, she was awarded the Friend of the AMA award in 2019.She is the host and producer of the Motorcycles & Misfits Podcast, the top moto-culture podcast in the world, with over 600 episodes and 13 years running. She is a passionate advocate for women in motorcycling, having been part of the team on the original Women Riders World Relay, and is currently co-CEO of the WRWR App. (She will be setting out this summer with Wendy Crockett to set a world record for thelargest GPS drawing in a country.) Liza has ridden in many countries around the world, but is best known for organizing and leading the women-only motorcycle tours through the northern mountain regions of Pakistan called Chickistan, which was featured on the cover of the AMA Magazine in March, 2023.You can find her at motorcycle rallies and events, speaking, teaching, interviewing and emceeing, and is equally passionate about all things two & three-wheeled.
